14 June 2011 – volcanic ash and our anniversary

16 Jun

We returned home from Melbourne today. The flight was fine, in spite of volcanic eruptions in far away places. We were delayed only an hour and, all things considered, Zanne and I thought that was fab. Some other passengers carried on like it was the end of the world and, quite frankly, I wanted to punch them square in the face. I didn’t care that they were old ladies – they were being d-heads! Seriously, if you’re travelling by air you have to accept that there might be delays. And ps, what the hell is so important in your life that you can’t spare an hour?? Airports make people crazy. Fact.

Anyways, it’s our 3 year anniversary today – you can read some lovey dovey things about my wife here. My parents celebrated our anniversary with us at a local restaurant – I love them for always celebrating our relationship. They are keepers, that’s for sure.

So peeps, the blog has been quite the Love Fest lately – my apologies. We’ll try to keep the public declarations of love to a minimum for the next little while, promise 🙂
